Jeevi Films Script Fund Program
Jeevi Films Script fund is for Writers/Directors from Minority groups around the world. Writers/Directors are selected by the programming committee according to their logline, synopsis and treatment who then gets the funding and also mentored by the industry for the production ready.
The Jeevi Films Script Fund Program has been conceptualized to provide funding for Asian Independent Film makers to finish the screenplay with the mentorship opportunities from the Industry to get ready the story for the production.

Submission Guidelines:
- The online application form and any documents for submission must be written in English
- Applicant must provide the following information:
- Project Info (title, budget, phase/stage in which the story is etc.)
- Logline (300 characters including spaces)
- Synopsis (1500 characters including spaces)
- Director’s Intention (2000 characters including spaces)
- Director’s Profile (1000 characters including spaces)
- The applicant must submit Project Proposal (including a list of research materials and investigative contents, and corresponding editing script)
- Online Link(s) of director’s previous works (maximum of 3 works)
- Applicant can submit only one project per fund
The Process
- Every year, applicants can submit their scripts between March 1 and April 1
- After the submission, our panel would go through the applications submitted and shortlist the applicants.
- The shortlisted applicants will be approached in June
- The recipient must sign the Fund Agreement.
- The recipient will receive the cash grant late September. The amount includes any applicable tax and possible bank fees.
- The recipient might be matched to the industry professional for the mentorship if they opted for one and must provide a progress report upon request JFSF.
- The completed film must include (1) the opening title card provided by JFSF in the film’s opening sequence, and Jeevi Films logo in the end credits and promotional materials.
Submission Red Flags
- Incomplete applications that do not satisfy the listed criteria for eligibility or follow the stated rules may be excluded from consideration without any prior notice.
